Devil’s Backbone in Black and White

The Pic: Devil’s Backbone

This is the Devil’s Backbone area in Loveland, Colorado. My brother-in-law and I went for an early morning hike here last Thanksgiving. I took this from one of the highest points we reached along the trail. It put us high enough to be able to see all the foothills behind the Devil’s Backbone rock formation. I was very excited to see that the clouds had made a very interesting shape in the sky. I was a little hesitant about getting up early on Thanksgiving but I was able to get several really cool shots so I am so glad I did!
